To be the best, we must continually meet, and exceed, customer expectations. Our ability to continually enhance our lean and flexible manufacturing systems is at the core of our growth and success. Cultivating leaders with a strong foundation in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) practices will allow us to develop the innovations and sustainable business practices that will help us deliver even more exceptional products to consumers around the world. The Manufacturing Leadership Development Program (MLDP)
is a two-year rotational program that offers a unique opportunity for work and study. During the course of the program, you will take on four-month assignments in core manufacturing functions, with the opportunity to complete a company-sponsored MBA or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
Through the program, you'll gain a foundation in critical core manufacturing processes and build on your talents through high-impact assignments that help us drive continual improvement in quality, cost, lead time, flexibility and customer service. WHAT YOU'LL DO
During your first two years in the Manufacturing Leadership Development Program, you will take part in six rotational assignments—lasting four months each—within different areas of our Manufacturing organization. In each assignment, you will have a hands-on role that will help you gain experience and understanding of the technical and managerial pillars of the WCM philosophy and practice. In addition, you will gain cross-functional exposure within other FCA US organizations.
While completing your rotational assignments within the Manufacturing organization, you will be attending a graduate program at one of six local universities, working towards the completion of your advanced technical degree or a MBA.
You will be assigned an Executive Sponsor as a mentor to guide you through the program and facilitate your career progression. You'll also have the chance to network with leaders throughout our organization. It is the ideal foundation for a growing career with us. WHAT YOU'LL NEED
